What is an e-business?
One may say that any
business that uses computers or internet is an e-business. But
that would be an over generalization. It is like saying that all
companies are telecom companies because they use lot of telephones.
An E-Business is a business
whose main source of revenue is derived through the Internet.
In other words an e-business has a business model based on the
Internet.
The business models fall
broadly into three categories:
1. Consumer
targeted models.
2. Business
target models
3. Infrastructure providers.
